Description:
Green Charge Networks (GCN) is an exciting and growing company in the smart grid and energy storage spaces, with a particular focus on electric vehicle charging. We develop and operate intelligent systems to accommodate local demand for electricity under existing generation and storage capacity restraints. Working with utility companies (Con Edison, PGE, etc) and public and private sector organizations (7-Eleven, Avis, AAA, etc) around the country, GCN specializes in solutions that enable the usage of high-powered electrical equipment, such as EVSEs, without causing extreme energy consumption peaks. We are currently seeking an intern to perform a supporting role for the research and finance teams for a fast growing tech company. The ideal candidate has a solid finance background, loves research and financial modeling (specifically in clean technology), and is able to pick things up quickly and enjoys working around new technology in a fast pace environment. A successful candidate will have the ability to grow quickly through the organization.

Responsibilities:
Assisting with the research analyst team in data modeling and finance forecasting
Responsible for general ledger and inventory management
Engineering document support and fact finding
Update and maintain organized filing system.
Duties will include Internet research projects.
Additional responsibilities depending on prior experience.

Qualifications:
Pursuing/completed a 4-year degree; finance or economic degree preferred.
Experience working for an engineering/finance company is a strong bonus.
Friendly and professional with exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective administrative and organization skills
Able to model abstract concepts into a forecasted interpretation
Ability to conduct and complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Strong desktop computer skills (Email, Internet, Microsoft Excel)
Ability to multitask priorities
Ability to work under tight deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
A CAN-DO attitude is required.
