HVAC Service Manager (Briarcliff Manor, NY)

Large Westchester county mechanical contractor looking for a seasoned Service Manager for our large growing service department.

Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring all customer serice is performed and provided promptly and efficiently, also responsible for department growth, account expansion and retention to meet financial business goals and objectives.

Duties and responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service mechanics, helpers and others to ensure quality service and delivery.
Ensure gross margins and revenues meet and/or exceed our plan goals.
Visit job sites and customers as required to exceed financial and customer expectations.
Responsible for maintaining Maintenance Agreement inspection frequency and Renewals and expansion of Maintenance Agreements.
Provide and review quotes and estimates to support service department sales.
Perform manpower planning to ensure proper staffing is available to perform assigned work.
Review and assist in scheduling, parts ordering, purchase orders and coordination to ensure work is executed to deliver complete customer satisfaction.
Review field paperwork and confirm that time is applied correctly and job descriptions are accurate and appropriate.
Review credits, time sheets, and perform necessary management and administrative tasks.
Follow up on field leads and drive TM growth to achieve business goals.
Recruit, hire and retain service field and office staffing.
Develop training requirements and schedules.

Qualifications
Minimum 10 years experience in the HVAC industry, at least 2 years experience in leading and supervising the work of others. Must be able to multi-task in high volume situations. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be proficient in MS office, the internet and all office equipment.

Personal
Able to commut reliably to office and offsite. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
