The Churchill School Center seeks cadidates for a science teacher for the lower elementary division (K-3).
Candidates must have NYS Certification for students with disabilities (childhood1-6) and at least two years full-time elementary teaching experience (above and beyond student teaching). Preference given to those who can demonstrate a strong background in science and math.
Churchill Changes Lives: We are an independent K-12 school that educates students with learning disabilities. We provide a supportive, structured enviornment in which students are encouraged to expand their knowledge and use their strengths while developing their reading, writing, math, social and organizational skills. Students learn to accept and understand their learning.
Teachers will
- Work in small classes of 12 students led by a head teacher, supported by an assistant teacher
