Concorde Home Tuition International is looking for tutors to teach immersion English as a Foreign Language.

Right now we're seeking a teacher who lives in or very near Manhattan for a female student from Russia from 7/1 - 7/21 f0r 20 hrs/week. The reimbursement for this visit is $750/week.
Tutors only require a college degree; experience with EFL isn't necessary.
Many other opportunities for host families in the general NYC area are upcoming.

Students live in your home; you provide housing, 3 meals a day, and 15 - 25 hours/week of formal teaching as well as informal learning such as conversation throughout the day during normal daily activities. Many students spend the day with his/her family. Others are independent and take excursions on their own. The host family must at least one excursion/week. If there is more than a minimal entrance fee for the excursion the student is expected to pay for his/her own fee as well as that of the teacher if the students desire her tutor to accompany him/her.

Homes require that students have his/her own room so your home MUST be set up with at least one extra bedroom. Some students desire their own bath for which the host family is paid an additional stipend. If the students needs transport to and/or from his'her point of arrival they are also reimbursed.

If your home doesn't have an extra bedroom please do not apply for the position. We are not set up at present for teachers who can't accommodate home stay.
