The Account Specialist serves as the primary point of contact at the client site while maintaining a strong client relationship. The Account Specialist should be a proven take charge performer who is self managed, motivated and driven to consistently exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely and efficient processing of requests for records.
- Guarantees flawless delivery of release of information (ROI) by ensuring compliance with the request, authorization and HIPAA regulations.
- Ensures that all OSDM processes and procedures are being followed and quality standards are at a minimum being met.
- Work efficiently with internal Account Management group to ensure a smooth, timely, effective and productive workflow.
- Regularly communicate status of site work to client and internal teams.     Â
- Collaborate with internal team to quickly resolve any issues that may arise and, if necessary, escalate any major issues to Account Director.Â
- Identify new business opportunities and report findings to Account Director. Â
- Conducts training for new Account Specialist and reports progress of employees to Account Manager.Â
   Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associates Degree, or 2 years experience in a similar position.
- Ability to work independently with a solution minded attitude. Â
- Quality conscious and detail oriented with strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and co-workers.
- Professional, dedicated and dependable team player.
