Senior Art Director / Graphic Designer

East House Creative Inc. is looking for an Art Director / Graphic Designer equally versed in print and online with minimum of 15 years of experience. We're looking for a hands-on creative who can conceptualize ideas and execute them as well. If you can perform exceptionally well with both sides of your brain, can generate quickly award-winning ideas, you are obsessed with typography, composition and color we would like to hear from you.
This position starts with a freelance and may lead to full time. Telecommute may be acceptable in some cases.

Required skills and qualities:
- Experience in big advertising agencies
- Award-winner
- Illustration and sketching skills
- Strong creative muscle
- Extremely good typography skills, great color sense and a sharp eye for layout and design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver).
- Ability to produce a variety of solutions to a given problem, both independently and as a team player
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Experience with print advertising and collateral packages
- Experience with interactive and online projects
- Experience with packaging design
- Experience with brand id
- Experience with direct mail
- Experience presenting creative work to clients
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Dependable personality
- Superb attention to detail

Additional skills:
- Experience with Dreamweaver and basic HTML coding is a plus
- Experience with Flash animation is a plus
- Experience with After Effects and Premier is a plus
