Our rapid growth has created an excellent career opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Loan Underwriting Manager who will have overall responsibility to manage and collect delinquent loan accounts. This management position has excellent career growth potential and initially reports directly to the company's General Counsel.
About the Job
Responsible for overall account relationship management with delinquent clients
Communicate with clients to understand issues impacting their ability to make timely payments
Negotiate successful repayment arrangements based on each client's ability to pay
Escalate settlement negotiation approvals to General Counsel, as needed
Monitor and control collection repayment programs
Refer accounts to outside counsel/collection agencies when appropriate
Make recommendations to improve daily collection processes and work flow
Obtain additional credit information on borrower when needed
Prepare weekly management report to Loan Committee
Qualified Candidates
Bachelor's degree
Extensive experience in commercial loan collections, default management and loss mitigation
Ideally, both collections firm and in-house delinquent loan management experience
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Satisfactory completion of background check required
