Our client, an International Bank based in New York City,has asked us to locate a Internal Audit Manager.The position is within the Investment Banking Audit Team, responsible for audit coverage all businesses reporting to the Global Director The Audit manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with and providing control related advice to business stakeholders as well as planning, execution and documentation of the results of their work for audits conducted.
The applicant must be an experienced professional who possesses strong auditing skills, good knowledge of the Banking/Investment industry, financial instruments and trading products, and a strong understanding of internal control systems within a financial institution. This includes a working knowledge of investment bank business activities, and practical experience dealing with risk management principles and controls. This individual should be a strong team player, able to multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic business environment.
The candidate we seek should have 6-9 years of large Public or Private Financial Service or Banking/Brokerage auditing experience-The position reports to the Internal Audit Director and supervises 3-5 staff auditors-The company offers an excellent salary as well as benefit package.
