Established apparel importer/wholesaler in Soho is looking to add a full charge bookkeeper / Controller to its finance team.
Requirements:
Min 3 years of Bookkeeping within the fashion and apparel industry
Must have experience with Factors and Charge-backs
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook
Bachelor's Degree - ideally within Accounting or Finance
Advanced QuickBooks knowledge
Experience with A2000 and/or AIMS is preferred
Self starter and ability to adjust to a very fast paced environment
Responsibilities:
Full Charge Bookkeeping
Maintain QuickBooks
Process invoices for customers
Process and maintain bills.
Maintain chart of accounts.
Prepare and maintain budget and financial projections
Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end income and expense financial reports.
Create custom income and expense reports for special projects.
Work with outside CPA and Finance manager on filing and reporting
