Product Development Manager
A Fashion company is looking for a Product Development manager for their costume Jewelry Division.
Candidate needs to know about trends, creating original product with customer.
Need to have experience with private label costume jewelry.
Need to have worked with upscale companies wholesale or retail.

Salary goes up to 65k plus benefits

Responsibilities include:
Working with customer to fully understand their product requirements and timeline
Collecting all materials, reference pieces and specifics to instruct the factory how to proceed
Negotiating and finalizing customer and factory pricing
Day to day management and upkeep of all Development forms for all items/groups being sampled
Logging all factory prices accurately; initial estimate price, actual price of item, and final price after revisions
Following up appropriately with the factory to ensure timely delivery of customer samples
Reviewing all samples that come in before giving to the customers to ensure factory sampled as per customer's request
Working with the customer to get their comments on all delivered samples and advising the factory of the requested revisions
Managing approval sample time line and accuracy for all styles on purchase orders

Experience Skills:
Fashion/costume jewelry experience
Working with overseas factories to develop products
Jewelry knowledge/ basic manufacturing knowledge
General understanding of Accessories Market weeks and customer timeline
General understanding of wholesale to supplier or direct retailer to supplier process and needs
Strong problem solving and decision making capabilities
Ability to understand customers product and business/market
