Position Overview:

As a Cashier, you will hold a lasting impression for our customer's shopping experience by performing all customer service functions according to established procedures. Your role will include assisting customers during the checkout process, performing all cash register functions, and bagging groceries. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous and efficient customer service to both customers and team members.

Responsibilities Qualifications:

Duties:
1.Make sure the customers are being taken care of and the department looks great at all times. Your smile may be all someone needs. At Foodecellar Co. we wear it as part of our uniform.
2.Provide excellent customer service, by always assisting the customers first.
3.Maximize team potential through effective and proper procedures for customer check out, handling of tenders, processing EBT transactions, sales of alcoholic beverages, and use of PLUs.
4.Support store programs.
5.Keep your department clean.
6.Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
7.Operates and sanitizes all Cashier equipment in a safe and proper manner.
8.Answers department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
9.Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Front End Cashier Team Member.
10.Performs other duties as assigned by the Front End Cashier Team Leader (Department Manager) or Supervisor.
