Based in New York and reporting to the Controller, the Field Auditor is responsible for ensuring store compliance to all activities and processes that serve to protect company assets and to achieve a reduction to the overall company's losses.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our growing Hospitality Company is seeking a Field Auditor who demonstrates reliability, accuracy, integrity and organization while auditing our 6 venues!
JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to:
Fraud Detection
Venue Audit -- each venue once per quarter
Managing Mystery Shops
Creating Operations / Training Guide for accountability/control
Observing manager and hourly employee behavior and reporting anomalies
Calling out incorrect operating practices to GM's, Director of Ops Training Department
Assist with refining training manuals and procedures
Maintaining venue security logs -- who has access to the building, keys, and codes
Manage cameras
Help to create checklists to make operating procedures more efficient for managers
Help with training managers on loss prevention and any other additional areas of expertise
Disaster Recovery Planning
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* 4 year college degree, preferably in accounting/finance
* 2+ years of similar experience
* Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and particularly Excel.
* Ability to work independently, to be self governing and the ability to problem solve.
* Must possess excellent communication skills.
* MULTI-VENUE EXPERIENCE A PLUS
* ENTERTAINMENT/RESTAURANT GROUP EXPERIENCE A PLUS
