Everglades Technologies hooks up Manhattan business with all of the technology they need (AV, cabling, phone systems, IT, internet, etc.) We've been around for 10 years, and recently launched a residential brand. Cloud9 Smarthome puts homes on a remote control, so our customers can control their home from a single location - lights, music, audio, video, temperature, shades, etc. Located in Union Square, Our 30-person team loves technology and is working hard to become the go-to company for Manhattan's automation needs.
THE POSITION
We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our team. This is an entry level position in our Sales department, but it's not a cold-calling job. Primary responsibilities include supporting our Sales Team with back-end administrative duties related to sales. Managing important info in our client-management software, researching and preparing quotes, and interfacing with potential clients to relay and collect important project details. Some design and engineering work is involved as well (we train on the job), as is researching the latest products and technologies.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for tech-minded girl or guy with a big thirst for knowledge. Excellent computer and typing skills are a must, and only applicants with stellar communication skills need apply. Optimism and confidence are crucial for success in our company, so successful candidates must possess both. This is a great foot-in-the-door opportunity for a recent graduate looking to cultivate a career in technology and/or sales. There is excellent growth potential within the company.
