Melville-based CPA firm seeking well-versed accountant with senior to manager level experience. Ideal candidate has small to medium-size CPA practice experience, where involvement includes servicing clients on ALL accounting and tax matters. Candidate MUST be capable of reviewing business write-ups/general ledgers, making appropriate accounting adjustments to get financials to final status, and then proceed with preparation of tax returns. Providing part-time controller services to business clients is also a service offered by this practice, as are financial statement audits. Candidate MUST have minimum 3 years experience preparing corporate, partnership and individual tax returns. Candidate must also be willing to occassionally visit business clients on Long Island, Manhattan and Brooklyn. Italian speaking is a significant plus, but not a requirement.
