Sensible Sitters is the premier temporary childcare agency in New York City. Our mission is to professionalize the industry of temporary childcare by sourcing, vetting, scheduling and training top-quality caregivers. Sensible Sitters relieves families of the administrative headache of finding individuals to care for their children. Additionally, the company provides ongoing training courses to continually improve the level of care.
Sensible Sitters currently operates in six locations. Our offices are in New York City, the Hamptons, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Beach and Atlanta. The business will expand to another 1-2 locations within the next year. A formal childcare curriculum will be developed and offered to childcare providers also.
Sensible Sitters is seeking an office manager for our New York City location. It is a salaried position which requires a 40-45 hours per week commitment. Our office managers are expected to work Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. The office manager may have to stay past 5:00pm if needed. Job Description:
Scheduling babysitters interfacing with high-end clientele regarding their needs
Assisting in scheduling facilitating training courses for babysitters
Field phone calls from clients sitters
Interview sitters follow/implement New Hire Process
Play an active role in consulting developing babysitter curriculum
Job Requirements:
-College Degree a Must, Masters Degree a Plus
-Childcare background Preferred
-Excellent phone and e-mail etiquette
-Business Management/Administration or Human Resources Background Preferred

-Ability to multi-task
- Requires top-level organization and people skills

Job Commitment:
-40-45 hours per week
