Great opportunity for a creative, ambitious college student or recent grad looking to gain professional experience in the commercial photo industry. Must be personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment.

Hours are flexible, but we prefer to set a definitive schedule with a minimum commitment of 20-30 hours per week.

The Intern serves as a key member of our team in performing assigned responsibilities as they relate to all photo shoots. This internship is intended for those who want to learn about the workings of a photo studio, and get their foot in the door of a fast paced and competitive industry. Ideal candidates will be studying / pursuing a career in a related field.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Assist in all aspects of photo studio production including taking and packing equipment orders, cleaning the studio after photo shoots, and general office tasks.
Perform responsibilities as assigned during photo shoots (some evenings and
weekends necessary)
Research new photo spaces, photographers, and resources related to our industry
Office reception: answering phones, receiving deliveries, ordering supplies
Taking equipment orders, packing, cleaning, and putting away equipment after shoots
Keeping studio tidy during photo shoots, and cleaning up after shoots
Being highly motivated and collaborative

Qualifications
Good writing and communication skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Internet research
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends
Interest in photography or related field

Compensation
Internship is unpaid. Modest honorarium awarded to intern upon completion of internship.
