Partner Business Solutions Sales Operations Director - New York

Google's line of products and services to clients never stops growing. Strategic Partner Managers have the unique opportunity to create a long-lasting relationship with our top partners. You renew existing partnerships, optimize deals and upscale potential opportunities. You cultivate these existing partnerships to make sure they can take full advantage of Google's ever-growing suite of offerings. You possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to resolve contractual, technical and financial issues with partners in order to best represent our users, products and programs.

Partner Business Solutions is a $10B+ global organization that works with millions of partners. We help our partners - large and small - to leverage the total Google digital suite (products like Search, Display, Video, Mobile, AdServing and Social tools) to generate traffic, create the right content and formats and monetize their business. Your role will be to work with senior leadership to define / refine strategy and go-to-market approach. You will also design organisational structure to provide world class service levels whilst achieving efficiency at scale. Set-up the key operational metrics and help define culture and performance of the team. The Partner Business Solutions Sales Operations Lead will also be a key member of the global Partner Business Solutions senior management team. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded and experienced top performer with proven sales, leadership, analytical, project management and communication skills. Your application should indicat e that you are a top academic and professional performer with the desire to excel in everything that you do. You will be able to meet tight deadlines and work across all levels of an organization. Qualifications include:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BSc degree. In lieu of education, 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Management experience and team leadership.
  • 15 years of management consulting experience and/or sales operations experience in technology and/or media industries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • 10 years relevant experience at the post-graduate level at a leading management consulting firm or corporate strategy team for a high-growth technology firm (software, Internet and/or media industry experience).
  • Hands-on experience managing high-performing teams and a demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Very strong business sense with distinctive problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with experience interacting with senior-level executives.

Audience Development Analyst, YouTube Next Lab - New York

As an Audience Development Analyst you will be part of the newly formed audience development team to deliver high-impact, data-driven insights, recommendations and metrics around content performance and audience patterns. The team's goal is to help maximize viewership for our strategic partners on their varied types of content. Through the rigorous analysis of key audience drivers and consumption patterns you'll derive best practices on how to drive viewership and provide key learnings to share broadly with the organization and with our partners.

You have previous content analysis experience combined with a strong desire to understand online viewing trends. You're a problem solver by nature and your strategic thinking skills will be critical in devising new tactics and turning data into actionable information to both enhance content optimization and influence product development. You are a self-starter, intellectually curious and able to think with both sides of the brain. You are comfortable working in a results-driven environment, able to multi-task, media savvy, have a strong interest in online video and want to be part of an innovative team that is forging new ground and redefining the world of media. Qualifications include:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree emphasizing quantitative coursework (engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or economics); In lieu of degree, 4 years of work experience.
  • 2 years of work experience in an analytical function.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or MS Graduate Degree.
  • Excel modeling skills (e.g. pivot tables, macros etc.) and advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in SQL coding, database query (e.g. MS Access), Visual Basic or other statistical analysis and data mining software.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Content analysis experience with knowledge of online video. Strong desire to redefine how people discover and consume content.
