Full Time Production/Personal/Editorial Assistant (Lower East Side)

I'm a freelance event producer (art food based events), curator (art exhibitions, festivals), and writer (blogging, news culture) working from my little studio in Lower East Side when not on site or typing away in cafes. I'm in search of the perfect assistant that can dabble in all fields of my work and essentially help me make sh*t happen as quickly, efficiently, productively, and successfully as possible.

Candidate will be helping me as I am working on:
- overseeing production, marketing, management, and programming for a vendor based outdoor market.
- producing an art festival with street festival, open studios, and group exhibition.
- producing a nighttime vendor based outdoor market.
- overseeing branding and design for a startup
- producing networking events for freelance creative professionals
- producing a nighttime vendor based outdoor market, centered around asian food only.
- a lot of personal organization
- a lot of data entry
- a lot of filing and organizing both online and offline

Google docs are what you will be breathing day in day out. You must be familiar with this medium. You must be a fanatic about organization and be bountifully pleased that you are one of very few people that organizes their email inbox so that only current emails that need follow ups are shown. You must be detail oriented above and beyond what any other job will pass as "detail oriented". Also, please be familiar with dropbox, evernote, wordpress, photoshop, excel, twitter, facebook, pinterest, hootsuite, and tumblr. If you're not familiar with 7/10 of these mediums please don't waste my time.

This is an opportunity to own it. Ownership over your responsibilities, accountability over your actions and measuring success as the events and editorials come to fruition.

This is full time. You can work from home. I will be strictly be monitoring you with your to do list that's on google spreadsheet that can be live edited.

This would be a good fit if you're really really into art, design, food, event production, and writing about all the above.
