Account Manager, Search Advertising Account Management

Yahoo! is looking for highly motivatedsearch engine marketing expertsto join Yahoo!,the premier digital media company. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage, retain, grow and satisfy Yahoo's most critical customer business relationships among our top 400 advertisers. Search Account Managers own a vertical book of business, should have a deep understanding of search engine marketing and have strong analytical skills specifically as it pertains to meeting ROI/CPA objectives. Search Account Managers are required to provide deep domain expertise and optimizations to key clients, pitch products as necessary and manage client relationships to help grow the search business. The position involves up-selling existing advertisers, cross-selling new products and providing daily support to achieve team revenue goals. Clients are major brands and large sized businesses.

Responsibilities:

Manage a vertical book of pre-determined business among Yahoo!'s top 400 search marketing advertisers.

Have a deep understanding and ability to analyze client ROI / CPA goals and data, media buying cycles, Web site architecture, product / service update schedules, marketing philosophy, target demographics, etc.

Understand how Yahoo! Search products will assist accounts in reaching their marketing goals.

Collaborate with Account Executive partners on proposal development, presentations, selling into new business and assisting with up-selling existing clients.

Proactively create strategic recommendations and implement Search solutions for each client.

Expand relationships with regular face-to-face client visits to build and maintain deep-level partnerships.

Work with the internal Editorial team on keyword expands, improved titles and descriptions, additional Match Types and enhanced bidding strategy.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of all internal systems to respond to general and specialized client requests; including billing inquiries, click activity inquiries, bidding requests, relevancy issues, etc.

Maintain and update proficiencies in the search marketing space

Responsible for special projects as assigned by the Manager of Account Management

Minimum Job Qualifications:

BS/BA or equivalent experience is necessary

3-5 years of digital marketing/media experience, preferably as an Account Manager in search enginemarketing

A strong background working with clients face-to-face in an outside sales role

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Outstanding computer skills including advanced knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), and CRM systems.

Certification in AdWords or adCenter Excellence

Demonstrated experience effectively optimizing marketing campaigns by analyzing performance and recommending adjustments to key performance drivers.
