A growing hedge fund is looking for a Fund Accountant to support the CFO of an elite Hedge Fund. This role will primarily be responsible in processing and monitoring accounting as well as operational tasks. Description:
- Reconcile the monthly performance and NAV between the fund, Financial Operations Principal, and the fund administrator.
- Assist with monthly trader profitability allocations, investor allocations and preparation of the final investor statements by the fund administrator
- Assist in the preparation of four annual financial statement audits with the external auditor
- Assist in day to day operation of the broker dealer, including trade support, corporate actions, transactional classifications, wire transfers, and journal entries.
- Manage the accounts payable for management approval and timely payment for various expenses such as brokerage and multiple trading related vendor expenses
- Daily interaction with prime brokers, custodial banks, and other various operational personnel.
- Assist with certain aspects of the Investor Relations process
