Our growing 13-unit, national brand franchise group is seeking an accounting professional for our corporate office. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong financial background and experience in a high volume, corporate environment. Prior experience with accounting for a restaurant group would be preferred, however not required. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits and paid vacation.
Responsibilities include:
- Day to day accounting functions
- Cash updates and importing individual unit sales
- Banking, petty cash and reimbursable expense reconciliations
- Preparing and remitting monthly sales taxes to relevant tax authorities
- Contribute to month end closing, while preparing accrual and inventory journal entries
- Import and calculate payroll on a weekly basis
- Daily input of invoices, bills and management of all accounts payable
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 Years professional experience in accounting or finance
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)
- Experience and proficiency with QuickBooks
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles (accrual prepaid)
- Excellent verbal written communication skills
- Internet-savvy with a basic knowledge of social media

- Compensation: $41,000 - $47,000
