Rapidly growing small business financing company, is seeking an Underwriter/ Credit Analyst responsible for evaluating new merchants' credit worthiness and business stability to determine if they qualify for our various financing and working capital programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in merchant cash funding,small business financing, or mortgage processing
- Familiarity with personal credit reports, UCC searches, and other various background information.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to recognize issues and identify solutions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with management, sales, and business owners.
- Experience working in a high-pressured environment, working to deadlines, and using own initiative.
- Appropriate phone etiquette
- Strong computer skills ( Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Bachelor Degree required
Responsibilities
- Reviewing credit reports, bank statements and financial statements to determine degree of risk involved with providing merchant cash advance.
- Providing financing offers
- Conducting interview with potential client
- Document paperwork and relay information to inside funding dept.
- Coordinate with outside sales representatives
- Manage the daily pipeline of submissions and follow up reports
