Job Description:
Provide structural design engineering, development of structural drawings, and field survey work. The firm services the high-rise building market in new construction, alterations, renovations, and the maintenance of existing structures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in structural (civil) engineering.
- Knowledge of ACI318 (concrete design code), ASCI LRFD, and ASD (steel design codes).
- Knowledge of ASCE 7 (Minimum Design Loads) and the International Building Code.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills: experience with AutoCAD, Finite Element Analysis programs, RAM Advanse, and RAM Structural Systems.
- Must be well-organized and self-disciplined with good independent problem solving skills.
