Responsibilities

We offer summer and year-round Associate internship opportunities for candidates currently working toward an MBA and interested in a career in media investment banking. The position offers candidates the chance to take on great responsibility, earn recognition for one's contributions, gain exposure to multiple media sectors and have a direct impact on our firm bottom line.

Candidates are provided with substantive responsibilities on client engagements that offer a sense of the role an Associate plays full time. The candidate will conduct market research and assist Associates with the preparation comprehensive information memoranda, management presentations and the management of due diligence processes involving exposure to clients, corporate buyers and private equity investors. The candidate will develop detailed financial and written analyses that assess media companies, their products services, industries, growth opportunities, valuations and investment merits.

Qualifications

First year MBA in finance.
Exceptional academic and professional track record.
2-5 years of work experience preferably with the MA practice of a leading investment bank or accounting firm, with a commercial finance company, or with a major consulting firm.
Extensive experience with financial modeling, corporate valuations and third-party due diligence.
Excellent analytical, research, writing and presentation skills.
Leadership skills and experience working with high performing teams.
Organized, thorough, and detail oriented.
Self starter able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Executive presence with the ability to develop a rapport with colleagues and clients.
High level of energy, enthusiasm and integrity.
Permanent U.S. work authorization required.
