Bookkeeping Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Transfer or record billable hours into QuickBooks
Prepare and enter journal entries to record expenses
Send payroll approvals to UNITE HERE
Prepare and send invoices to PAs (participating affiliates).
Record PA payments in QuickBooks
Forward PA payments with backup to UNITE HERE
Maintain SSC financial files
Perform bookkeeping responsibilities for each PA according to each unique SLA
Performs related tasks and projects as assigned
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
College Degree or formal or on-the-job training in bookkeeping practices. May include business school, vocational school or college courses
Good communication skills
Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Outlook
2-3 years experience in Accounting or bookkeeping
Ability to perform detail work with speed and accuracy
Ability to work independently
Problem-solver
Good keyboarding, ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
Proven experience with TIMSS and preparing COGNOS Reports preferred.
Ability to prepare financial and other records in a systematic and logical manner.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
