Sessions College for Professional Design is seeking an accounting professional with experience in the for-profit educational industry. Position is full-time and located in our New York office, a convenient short walk from Penn Station. Position reports directly to CFO.
Role will focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory and military requirements for billing tuition for students, as well as transaction processing of monthly tuition payments. Great career path for the right person who is positive, enthusiastic, and gets the job done. Small collegial office servicing a student body from across the globe.
An Associates or higher Degree in accounting, plus a minimum of 2 years experience. Working knowledge of QuickBooks and strong MS Office skills a big plus. Individual should have strong accounts receivable processing and collection experience.
