Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic and analytical Operations Logistics Analyst who will help FiftyOne continuously improve the accuracy of our fully landed cost (including domestic and international shipping handling, duties and taxes) quotes, reduce the overall logistics costs, and optimize the overall international logistics processes through monitoring, proactive management and analysis of the existing customer parcel processes via our internal software solutions and external carriers and logistics vendors. The role will be involved in areas such as shipping costs prediction/management, import/export restrictions on an international level and global duty taxes processes. The candidate should be equally comfortable solving an individual customer parcel clearance delay, as well analyzing multiple country level actual versus estimated cost data.
Responsibilities
Research and respond clearly and accurately to our merchant partner and escalated customer inquiries regarding the logistics related issues, such as missing parcels, customs delays, duty tax inquiries, etc.
Review and restrict potential products from international shipment utilizing various internal and external tools and algorithms based on compliance with hazmat/DOT restrictions, Fish Wildlife regulations, US Export regulations and destination country import regulations.
Work with our merchant partners, foreign customers, international carriers and US foreign customs/regulatory agencies, to provide information, documents and permits required to ensure successful delivery of customer orders.
Monitor and analyze logistic costs, weights and volumes to ensure the cost to the customer is as accurate and compelling as possible.
Monitor all our service provider SLA's (delivery times, response rates, etc.) to ensure maximized delivery accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Monitor international duty and tax quoting to the over 110 countries we deliver to and ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications
Must be detail oriented, organized, analytical, energetic, good natured, and an expansive thinker
Previous experience with at least 2-3 of the following:
Operations
Shipping Logistics (International Preferred)
Import/Export Processes
Harmonized Tariff Codes (HS/HTC) and Schedules
Duties Taxes
Customs
HazMat Export Restrictions
Experience working with major international carriers (DHL, Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) or specialty international carriers preferred
Proficiency with Excel and significant analysis skills
