Job Description
This role encompasses all responsibilities under the business operations to enable coordination and timely compliance with various central functions across financials, business operations, communications and Program office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as support Head of Operations and quickly get up to speed with key business issues and priorities;
- Support in review and improvement of existing operational processes; create appropriate status presentations/status reports as required;
- Coordinate preparation of reports and presentations across SBU (Sub-Business Units); lead process to meet various reporting deadline;
- Assist management with various tasks related to recruitment, on-boarding and logistics around new hires and leavers;
- Provide support to global program management office in collaboration with SBU PMO to ensure timely delivery of the programs;
- Provide support in collection and analysis of operational and financial performance metrics and targets (Scorecards);
- Review and maintain a core set of new processes to enable efficient and timely compliance with various firm wide approval requirements (e.g. procurement, invoicing etc.).
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. (market analysis, requirements definition, competitive analysis , etc.)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience, including senior management.
- Strong team player with experience of working with virtual teams from different functions/regions.
- Communication: Ability to communicate confidently and concisely using specialist business acumen. Communicates frequently and concisely with peers, managers, clients, and industry participants. Applies articulate verbal and written communication ability to translate the vision/strategy into clear priorities and direction.
- Delivery: Ability to understand the business and practices of global, multi-asset trading and how the Thomson Reuters Trading Division products and services support this
- Creativity and innovation: Continuously maintain an innovative mindset whist operating with a set of defined internal and external communication processes
- Bachelors degree in Business - Finance emphasis preferred;
- Strong working knowledge of the business analysis function
