Kravet Inc, one of the leading international fabric and fine furnishings companies, is currently looking for an addition to our Lee Jofa and Brunschwig Fils Corporate Showroom Merchandising Department in New York City. The Department seeks a self-motivated, highly organized individual for our Fabric Merchandiser position.

Candidate must have project coordination experience, be well organized, and have the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects. Candidate must also have the ability to manage and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is paramount, including the ability to manage records and inventories. Applicants must exhibit the ability to work well both with a group and on an individual basis. Computer proficiency (including Microsoft Word Excel) and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience in the fabric/design industry is a plus. Most importantly, the ideal candidate is someone willing eager to contribute their utmost towards a project's success.

Lee Jofa and Brunschwig Fils maintain 32 corporate showrooms in the US Canada. This position offers the opportunity for the ideal candidate to work with our Senior Fabric Merchandiser to oversee fabric sampling in these corporate showrooms. The primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinating seasonal launches of new fabric product in showrooms
- Maintaining organizational system to record fabric sampling status of all corporate showrooms
- Creating layouts of new fabric product for sample boards
- Working as part of a team to coordinate installations of all fabric sampling in new showrooms
- Communicating effectively and diplomatically with showroom managers and regional offices
- Managing deadlines
- Travel required
