Aggressively growing high end residential firm seeks highly motivated individual with strong construction documentation skills to strengthen our growing workforce.
The candidate must be a person who seeks ongoing professional development to match the increasing demands of industry.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ability to convert field measurements to scaled drawings, to be used for schematic design
Extensive knowledge of residential construction techniques, methods, and materials
Ability to transpose schematic hand drawings into computer drawings
Ability to process design development drawings into construction documents including but not limited to detailed building and wall sections, eave details and schedules.
Knowledge of interior schematic and construction drawings, including millwork shop detailing.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, listening and responding.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Office Suite
Good organizational skills, Problem solver, able to overcome adversity.
Strong work ethic, ability to work full-time Monday -- Friday with mandatory overtime during tight deadlines.
5+ Years experience in residential construction document production
Knowledge of Sketch Up, or other rendering software a plus
This a full time position based on a fixed per project salary, with strong opportunity for growth.
