We are currently interviewing for a Senior Statutory Accountant to join our team. Primary responsibilities include preparation of both Statutory and GAAP financial reports, filings and analysis; preparation of annual and quarterly Statutory Statements and related schedules. In addition, primary responsibilities will include Preparation of Statutory audited statements and management of the audit process; preparation of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations; managing staff with associated functions.

Required Qualifications:
BA or BS in Accounting
Insurance industry experience, Property Casualty experience preferred
Ability to research Statutory Regulations, accounting principles and practices, translate, communicate and apply findings in practice.
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, multi-task, and manage others.
Intermediate Excel and proficient in MS Word and Power Point

Desired Qualifications:
CPA
Masters degree
