Job Description

Moda Operandi is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Promptly enter and process invoices, including matching invoices, coding invoices, and bank reconciliations
Post journal entries to the general ledger
Review invoices and check requests for proper authorization
Generate and issue checks on a regular basis, including accounts payable and expense checks
Bill processing, including accounts payable and receivables
Prepare and update internal spreadsheets and files related to A/P and A/R
Verify reconcile vendor statements; including responding to vendor inquiries
Research discrepancies, set-up new vendors in the system, open and sort mail, and perform data entry

Qualifications

Associates and/or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
A minimum of 3-5 years accounts payable/receivables experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with Quickbooks or other similar software packages
Strong analytical, writing, presentation skills are necessary as is the ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
