A high-net-worth asset management company is looking for a Research Assistant to work closely with the Investment Team in various capacities. This is an exciting opportunity for soon-to-be or recent graduates, since you will gain important skills in investment research and decision-making strategies, as well as the chance to work closely with smart individuals by supporting the team through administrative tasks.
Description:
* Support Portfolio Managers and Analysts on multiple equity funds in day-to-day activities, as well as extended projects
* Work closely with Quantitative team on relevant tasks/projects as they pertain to the equity research process
* Work with team members to gather corresponding data and produce various internal and external presentation materials
* Oversee process/respond to requests from Legal Compliance during internal audit reviews
* Provide accurate and detailed model updating, updating/ fact-checking/ proofreading quarterly materials, analysis of attribution, and performance materials
* Responsible for administrative tasks as they relate to the support of the Investment Team (i.e. travel arrangements, expense reports, meeting set-up, etc)
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree, Finance/Accounting field of study highly preferred
* Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
