Finance Manager Needed for Restaurant Group
Established food and beverage company is positioned for growth and seeks an enthusiastic team player with a minimum of 5 years financial experience to be the new Finance Manager. This position will handle all of the company's finances and report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monthly and weekly PL's
- Account reconciliations
- Interim and year-end financial statement preparation
- Cost analysis and other financial evaluation
- Assisting with payroll
- Invoicing A/R and A/P
- Credit card processing
- Working with our Accountant, insurance broker, vendors, and Director of Operations to create an efficient, well-managed office
The candidate must be highly organized, proactive, take charge, and handle ad hoc projects with ease. Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel are a must. Experience in a multi-entity environment and inter-company transactions is a plus. This position is in a rapidly growing company and requires a hard-working, enthusiastic individual who is willing to assist in other departments when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in Accounting/Finance
- Experience using Quickbooks
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Location: Queens
