A New York based fast growing home care agency is currently seeking a professional billing clerk to work in our Manhattan Midtown office.
Responsibilities:
The Billing Clerk is responsible to conduct activities related to employee payroll and contract/patient billing, as assigned by Administrator.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor or above of a business school in the area of bookkeeping; one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience.
2. Chinese/English is required.
3.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
4. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, patients, and other employees of the agency.
5. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
6. Proficient in the use of office equipment and the computer: word processing and Excel.
7. Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
9. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or few concrete variables.
